About the Role:
You will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our payment systems. This will also require you to work on other applications to meet our client needs and requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop embedded C/C++ applications on POS.
- Develops software solutions (Java web server, Android application) under the direction of the Senior Software Engineer
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by preparing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
Your Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Computer, Electronic, Electrical Engineering or proficient in embedded system, application development or web programming.
- With at least 1 year solid experience in Android development; Be able to code Android
- Good knowledge/ working experience on C/C++ or C-like language such as C#
- Good understanding of data exchange format (XML, JSON, CSV, TLV)
- Exposure on Java and Python is a plus
- Knowledge/ experience on source control system such as Subversion, Github is an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English is required as you will be liaising with clients/ counterparts across the region.
